Cynthia E. Case (Banach), age 50, of Fredonia, NY passed away Sunday February 16th, 2014 at the UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA after a brief illness, with her family at her side.
She was born August 26, 1963 in Dunkirk, NY. The daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor Banach, she spent her life here among family and friends she loved.
Cindy graduated from Dunkirk High School and was employed by Bob Evans Restaurant for many years. She was a past member of the Frank Acquavia American Legion Post 1344 Ladies Auxiliary.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jason Case of Dunkirk, NY.
She is survived by her daughter, Lexee Battaglia; her son Nathen Case (Keri); 4 grandchildren: Xavier, Tyler, Jacob and Kayleigh; brothers Tom Banach of Dunkirk, Gary Banach (Julie) of Derby, NY, Tim Banach of Dunkirk, NY, companion Brett Shaver of Fredonia and many nieces and nephews.
Cindy would always light up the room at any gathering. She was warm hearted, friendly, and loved socializing with family and friends. She especially enjoyed gardening.
Friends may call Thursday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the LARSON-TIMKO FUNERAL HOME, 20 Central Ave., Fredonia, NY where a funeral service will follow immediately after at 8 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
