February 21, 2014
The OBSERVER

Howard Stewart, Commander of The American Legion Post 105, North East, Pa., presents a check for $1,000 to Westfield Stray Cat Rescue's coordinator, Karen Hubbard. The donation has already been earmarked to trap, test, neuter, and release (TNR) a colony of stray and feral cats located in the North East community. WSCR, an all-volunteer no-kill shelter, thanked Post 105 American Legion for their continuing generosity. One hundred percent of all donations to Westfield Stray Cat Rescue, located at 59 E. Main St., Westfield goes toward supplying the many needs for stray and feral cats in and around the local area.
