MAYVILLE - Representatives of the Chautauqua County Home and CSEA Union have stepped forth prior to the fourth official vote on the County Home's privatization in an attempt to persuade legislators in their votes.

Former legislator Timothy Hoyer has taken a stand against the sale, speaking to legislators, "It will only cost $20 per person in this county. What is more important, your $20 or taking care of your neighbor's father?"

Todd Tranum, president of the Chamber of Commerce said, "Your decision to vote yes is a decision to save jobs, save an asset and do what is fiscally and financially right for the taxpayers and community as a whole."

The future of the County Home will be voted on within the next 30 minutes.
