Job Corps recognizes outstanding employee

CASSADAGA - Cassadaga Job Corps Academy has announced that Kim Curtin has been recognized as the first employee of the month for 2014. Curtin works as a recreation specialist in the academy's recreation department. She is responsible to help develop positive engaging activities that promote a students personal growth and development. She is part of a team that monitors the academy's recreation building, gymnasium, weight room, as well as off center recreational trips. Curtin was selected for the honor because she is friendly, funny, helpful, respectful, dedicated, a team player and mentor. She is always willing to volunteer to do more than her job duties require. She is an excellent role model for the students and is respected by both her teammates and the students.
