Lake Shore students go Bald for Bucks

March 23, 2014
Observer Today

The Lake Shore Central School recently held its 13th annual Bald for Bucks event. More than 170 students and community members shaved their heads and/or donated to Locks of Love. While donations are still coming in, more than $37,000 was raised from the Lake Shore School Community. Bald for Bucks was founded by Lake Shore Social Teacher Tony George as a tribute to his sister who was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. The event marked the 10th anniversary of her death.
