Christ Community Church, located at 219 Berry Road, Fredonia, saw about 150 children attend its annual egg hunt Saturday morning.
Billed as a "3,000 egg hunt," there were three separate fields each covered with 1,000 eggs. In one field children 4 and under hunted for plastic eggs with their parents. In the second field, children in grades kindergarten to second grade sought eggs. In the third field, children third to fifth grade raced to find eggs. For the two older groups, children could get 10 eggs, then had to run to the starting line before they could hunt for more. All the eggs were filled with candy.
Before the egg hunt, children made Easter-themed crafts with their parents.
