One person received minor injuries and was subsequently charged with moving from a lane unsafely after his vehicle struck a National Grid pole on Route 20 and rolled over in the town of Sheridan on Sunday. According to the New York State Police at Fredonia, around 2:20 p.m., Henry Stritzki, 85, of Sinclairville was traveling westbound when he allegedly moved from his lane unsafely in a northerly direction and struck the pole near 2602 Route 20. Debris from the vehicle flew off during the accident and struck a parked and unattended vehicle in a nearby driveway, breaking the window. Stritzki was taken by Alstar Ambulance to Brooks Memorial Hospital. The Sheridan Fire Department helped extract Stritzki from his vehicle. National Grid also responded.
