Ann Marie (Jourdanais) Test, age 73, of Dunkirk, NY, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 with her family at her side.
She was born in Orchard Park, NY, on September 7, 1940; the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor
(Sarach) Jourdanais. Ann was a Dunkirk resident for most of her life; prior to her retirement she was employed at M. Wile, JoAnn Fabrics and the OBSERVER. After her retirement she enjoyed camping, NASCAR, and spending time with family. Ann was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Ann is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard Test, who she married on June 29, 1963; three daughters, Lisa (Daniel) Lukasik; Karen (Bill) Burgess and Barbara (Charles) Jamieson all of Dunkirk; seven grandchildren, Rebecca and Daniel Lukasik; Christopher Shutt; John Patterson; William and Richard Burgess; and Charles Jamieson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents; Ann is predeceased by her infant daughter Kimberly Test; two brothers, Franklin Jourdanais and Edward
"Kelly" Jourdanais Jr.; and four sisters, Eleanor Bowers; Lillian Carroll; Loretta Giambra and Marion Bennett.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to be held Saturday, May 17 at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. There will be no prior visitation. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements by the Newman Funeral Home, Inc.
