JAMESTOWN - Cancer can rob a woman of her energy, appetite and strength. But it doesn't have to take away her self-confidence. Look Good Feel Better is a free program that offers female cancer patients in active treatment techniques to restore their self-image and cope with appearance-related side effects. Certified cosmetologists provide tips on make-up, skin care, nail care, and teach women how to cope with skin changes and hair loss by using new, donated cosmetic kits that patients are able to keep. Women also learn ways to disguise hair loss with scarves and other accessories.
