The application deadline for the Dunkirk High School Class of 1989 Memorial Scholarship is Friday.
The $250 scholarship, made possible by generous donations from parents and classmates, is available to any DHS senior graduating this June with at least a 3.0 overall grade point average, college bound attending a two-year or four-year school, and past school/community service involvement.
Applications can be picked up from the DHS guidance office or downloaded from the school website.
The annual memorial scholarship is in honor of the following deceased classmates: Paula Kuschel, Jennifer Styborski, Jody Wdowiasz, Michael Koch, Robert Pierce, James Kulpa, Susan Butts, Elizabeth Reincke (Barnes), Tony Quiles and Susan Stoyle (Gorka).
