In recognition of Earth Day, Mrs. Morgan and her first grade class from Dunkirk School 4, once again enjoyed the yearly tradition of collecting litter at Washington Park. Students felt a great sense of pride in taking care of the Earth and community. While there, neighbors and park goers thanked and encouraged the children while they worked. Students also learned the importance and value of being a “volunteer.” Pictured are: left to right, front row: Jayden Salgado, Alyss Vazquez, Jayla Pacheco, Kassidy Donisi, Ty’teareya, Ashia Brown; back row: Sebastian Cox, Mrs. Morgan, Ruben Hernandez, Sheldon Scott, David Newcomb, Darlon Rivera, Luis Lopez, Jaylen McMichael, Justin Soto Negron, Louis Rivera, Ms. Nieves, Peter Felt, Jairo Gonzales and Matthew Pokoj.
