WESTFIELD - The YWCA Westfield an-nounced that the annual father-daughter dance has been scheduled for Saturday at the YWCA, 58 South Portage St., Westfield.
The dance is open to all girls in kindergarten through 5th grade. Young ladies and their escorts are invited to an evening of dancing and refreshments plus dance lessons provided by Emmie Bishop of Center Stage Dance Studio and disc jockey services from Matt Terrill of KoolTunz.
"The Board of Directors works to make this a special occasion for the young ladies, decorating the gym and setting up a portrait studio for a keepsake photo," said board member and photographer Dana Corwin. "We serve punch and cookies, provide a wrist corsage and make this a special evening for the girls. In addition to the fathers, we encourage grandfathers, uncles, older brothers to act as escorts for the evening."
Guests at the 2013 YWCA Father-Daughter Dance are pictured above. The 2014 edition of this event is scheduled for Saturday. Tickets are now on sale at the YWCA in Westfield.
Tickets are $20 per couple, all inclusive and available at the YWCA.
