Dunkirk Police acquire new water equipment

May 29, 2014
Observer Today

As the summer waterfront season begins, the Dunkirk Police Department, through the cooperative efforts and generosity of Barts Cove & Marina, will now have life rings, throw ropes and life jackets in patrol vehicles. The acquisition of this water rescue equipment will give officers the ability to immediately have it available if the need to use it arises along the waterfront areas of the city, according to Police Chief David Ortolano.
