Bram Lewis Friedman (Benyamin Eliazar Laib Ben Rafael), age 60, of Fredonia, N.Y. died Monday June 9, 2014 at the Gowanda Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a short illness.
Bram was born Sept. 4, 1953 in New York City. He grew up on Long Island and came to the area to attend SUNY Fredonia, where he earned a Bachelor's degree.
Bram was a small business owner, had a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and above all was a professional at living life. He was the owner, CEO, COO, Chief Mechanic and No. 1 Salesman of Bram's Bicycle Shop in Fredonia.
He enjoyed classic bikes, bowling and was an active volunteer with Boy Scouts of America.
Survivors include three sons, David Friedman of Pennsylvania, Joel Friedman of Illinois, and Michael Friedman of Colorado; his father, Robert Friedman; and sisters Ena Roseman and Jan Friedman.
Bram was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Siegal Friedman.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at the Willowbrook Park Cemetery, Central Avenue, Dunkirk, N.Y. today at 11 a.m.
