Local talk show begins on Access 12

The Walter Rutland Show - Making Progress in Dunkirk had it first airing Wednesday with city of Dunkirk Police Chief David Ortolano (left) as Rutland (right), a self-described community activist, helped begin a new era in Access 12 programing. The station is available on Channel 12 to Time Warner customers with a digital set top box or on Channel 98-3 for other customers. The show is scheduled to air live every Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. City officials and station director William Smock have said more programing is in the works.
