The Dunkirk High School Pool announced the summer session of programming. The schedule is as follows:
Evening Swim: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 to 7 p.m. from July 8 to August 14. 13 sessions - $22 for full session or $2 individually.
Deep Water Aquasize: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 to 7 p.m. July 8 to August 14. 13 sessions - $44 for full session or $4 individually.
Aquasize: Mondays and Wednesdays 6 to 7 p.m. July 7 to August 13. 13 sessions - $44 for full session or $4 individually.
Morning Swim: Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. July 7 to August 13. 13 sessions - $22 for full session or $2 individually.
Open Swim: Monday - Friday, Session 1 - 1 to 2:30 p.m; Session 2 - 2:30 to 4 p.m. July 7 - August 15. $2/swimmer per session.
Learn to Swim Classes are planned for the following age groups: Guppies (beginners), Minnows, Fish, Sharks and Dolphins (advanced). If there is enough interest, an infant /parent class and a beginning diving class will be offered. The swimming classes will take place on Monday through Friday.
Session 1 - July 7 to July 18. Session 1A - 9 to 9:45 a.m. Session 1B - 10 to 10:45 a.m. Session 1C - 7 to 7:45 p.m.
Session 2 - July 21 to August 1. Session 2A - 9 to 9:45 a.m. Session 2B - 10 to 10:45 a.m. Session 2C - 7 to 7:45 p.m.
Registration will take place on Tuesday, July 1, in the High School pool lobby from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for Dunkirk residents and 6:30 to 8 p.m. for all others
Costs are: Dunkirk residents: 1st Child $30; 2nd Child $25 and additional children $20. Non-Dunkirk residents: 1st Child $35; 2nd Child $30 and additional children $25.
All registrations must be paid by check. No cash is accepted. All classes will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis. All parents are asked to stay in the balcony area to avoid confusion on the pool deck. No food or drinks in the pool or balcony area.
