A three-vehicle accident sent one person to the hospital Friday afternoon. According to Fredonia Police, about 4:30 p.m., a driver failed to stop at a red light and collided with a second vehicle at the intersection of Routes 20 and 60 in the village of Fredonia. That collision caused a secondary collision involving a third vehicle. One person was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital with minor injuries and the driver who caused the crash was charged with failure to stop at a red light. Alstar Ambulance also responded to the scene. All three vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Police did not release any names Friday night.
