The only bank in Brocton will soon be closed.
Community Bank, N.A. Tuesday said that later this year, it will consolidate its Brocton branch, located at 19 E. Main St., Brocton, into its Westfield branch, located at 70 E. Main St., Westfield. Customer accounts will be automatically transferred from the Brocton branch to the Westfield branch.
There will be no employee layoffs associated with the move because all employees will be offered employment at Westfield or other nearby Community Bank locations.

Community Bank at 19 E. Main St. in Brocton will be closing its doors and merging with the Westfield Community Bank at 70 E. Main St. in Westfield.
Hal Wentworth, senior vice president for retail banking, noted, "While improving the efficiency of our branch network, our customers will be happy to know that they'll see the same employees at our other nearby branches."
The Westfield branch is open five days a week and has a 24-hour ATM. Westfield and Brocton employees, along with employees at any of the other Community Bank locations, will be happy to help customers set up direct deposit, night deposit, online banking, mobile banking, mobile deposit, remote deposit capture or other services in order to ease the transition.
Westfield branch lobby hours are: Monday to Thurs-day 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fri-day 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are other branches in Cassadaga and Dunkirk. Customers are encouraged to speak with the staff at any Community Bank, N.A. location should they have any questions, or call 1-800-388-4679.
