Catholic Daughters installs officers

Our Lady of Chautauqua Ct. 2639 Catholic Daughters of the Americas recently installed its 2014-2015 officers. Pictured above, left to right, are: District Deputy Elizabeth Briendel, Regent Ruth Eckstrom, Financial Secretary Susan Zanghi, Chaplain Rev. C.J. Westfield, Secretary Pat Morelle, and Vice Regent Madeline Helmer. Treasurer MaryAnn Gabel was absent from the picture. Catholic Daughters welcome ladies over 18, who come together under the motto of “Unity and Charity.” Members from six area parishes are involved in national and local projects through the Circle of Love. Meetings are held monthly at St. Anthony’s Church in Fredonia at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for July 31. Interested ladies are invited to join.
