New airline to serve the Chautauqua County Airport

JAMESTOWN - Passengers flying from Jamestown will soon have a new airline and a new destination to choose for their flying needs. On Friday the United States Department of Transportation announced the selection of Sun Air a Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based airline to provide the service under the federally subsidized Essential Air Services (EAS) program. Sun Air Express will start offering daily flights from Chautauqua County to Pittsburgh International Airport starting Oct. 1.
