Observer Today

SINCLAIRVILLE - The Valley Historical Society of Sinclairville recently received a framed set of photographs of records from the Cassadaga American Legion Post 1280. The project, accomplished through the efforts of the Sons of the American Legion, was the idea of Diman Smith. Photographs of the charters of the American Legion, the Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion were placed inside a special built cabinet, along with a list of the original charter members of each group. The cabinet, constructed by Bob Cole of Cassadaga, was presented to the Valley Historical Society for historical purposes, and will be posted in the museum near the military display.
