Gowanda Soccer, Touch Football, Softball Begin in September
The Gowanda youth co-ed soccer and touch football programs will return this fall. On five consecutive Monday nights beginning Sept. 8, soccer for children in grades K-7 will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the George Dispenza Memorial Field on Broadway Road. Co-ed touch football will be held at the same location and time on five consecutive Wednesday nights beginning Sept. 10 for children in grades 3 through 7.
After a four year hiatus, adult men's recreational softball games will also be held at the same site each Tuesday night beginning Sept. 9 from 5:30 to 7 pm. This will precede the 16th Annual Slowpitch tournament slated for Saturday, Sept. 6.
