There are times to warm up to some decisions by Town Boards.
One such recent decision was in Ripley, when the board rejected a bid to install air-conditioning in the new offices. The cost of the proposal was $32,000.
Town Supervisor Doug Bowen said that amount was over the limit set for the work, according to this week's Westfield Republican, so another plan is needed
In the coming month, Ripley - as well as the rest of the region - will be undergoing a change of seasons. Heating, most definitely, will be a much larger issue come mid-October.
