Man sentenced for ‘98 murder on reservation

ROCHESTER - U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced Tuesday that Pablo Plaza, born in 1976, who was convicted of the murder of Francisco Santos on the Seneca Indian Reservation in Erie County, in October 1998, was sentenced to 25 years in prison by U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci. The defendant was also convicted of conspiring with others to traffic drugs in the Rochester area, including cocaine, cocaine base, heroin and marijuana during the period from approximately 1993 to March 2011.
