I wouldn't even bother replying to her anymore Rumblefish. She still insists that the Home is showing a surplus. Obviously balance sheets and accounting is not her strong suit. She has yet to contact the CE about the gas well or view the CH 2 report about it but has plenty of time to talk about the doomsday radiation coming soon. I now why the supermarket tabloids exist!

rumblefish..my legislator voted NO to the sale and he does not have union support. He voted the way the people in his district wanted him to vote. He also voted on something called MORALS and VALUES. Taking care of our most vulnerable citizens. What possibly could be a better use of our tax dollars?
All these folks wanting the CC sold yet where are the facts of it losing money? How much do you think your taxes will decrease if it were to be sold? hint..not one dime
Read the CGR report on the CC. It is NOT losing money. In fact it operates with a small SURPLUS.
Why is NO one addressing the issue of the half of million dollars this County spent to drill a gas well that just sits there idle? Where is the investigation into that? Yet we are to accept what these same folks now are telling us about the finances at the CC?

cornell isn't qualified to be county clerk. all jobs the she has had since she graduated from college have been politically appointed ones.

I really want to say the County clerk job like others is probably not a big deal as people under you ae doing the work but I probably won't

Hey Buford, if someone said "Lori Cornell kills cats in her basement." Your response would be "Good for her, they're dirty animals anyway". At this point it's laughable. You deserve her. Like Joseph said, like her, you don't have a clue.

As far as the county home goes. From.everything ive read, the prospective buyers were very successful with their other homes. Why wouldn't the County sell a home that's losing money to a buyer that could provide better service?

It's clear by your last comment Buford that you, much like Ms. Cornell, have no idea what goes on at the County Clerks office.

Well good for her,at least she is not trying to sell it..As far as reducing staffing??..Good!!..Because Mayville needs a good employee cleaning out, maybe they would not be tripping all over each other, having 3 people doing one persons job!!..

Bufordpusser......" Mrs. Cornell readily admits she's never been in the clerk's office, but has publicly stated she will reduce staff, streamline processes and improve technology." Proof enough for you Buford????????

Um ...Buford ...she SAID she was never in the County Clerk's office. Maybe you missed that part or just chose to read what you wanted. No need to get angry at the facts. Most people in the county have never been in CCH and we want it sold. One has nothing to do with the other.

commentor..Do you have proof Cornell has never been in the Clerks office??..Well guess what??..Barmore has never stepped foot in the CCH!!..But he is one of the ringleaders that wants to sell it!!..

CORNELL NOT QUALIFIED. Will destroy everything Sandy worked for for 20 years. Sandy supports Barmore. That's good enough for me. Cornell has never even been in the clerk's office.
