when dealing with "Life on Life's terms", we choose "common sense" over IQ and a piece of paper

We have know this fact from childhood on, "you can't teach common sense" and Steiner is proof positive of it,
Question: What do Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, Mark Zuckerberg, Michael Dell, Ted Turner, Ralph Lauren have in common?
A: They all dropped out of college. That part of Judeye's argument is irrelevant, and Exhibit A of the lie that ONLY college graduates are smart.
There are two brothers from Fredonia who never set a single day in college, and their company does @ $25 Million / year in revenues. An education does not necessarily make one "intelligent".

actually maybe that should have been "witch hunt" and then we all could attend the public burning at the stake of the evil Republicans dance in large circles and chant the praises of the Big O, does all this sound "ridiculous", yep it's just as silly as the charges being made against the republicans
lets see here, accusing the republican party of meeting/planning/ and executing a plan to disrupt and discredit the Big O right from the beginning of his reign, wouldn't that be treason after all it would be presenting a threat to running this country wouldn't it, maybe it time to form a committee to look into this, all they need is a modern day Joe McCarthy to run the inquest
Judeye, you are so far off base, your not even in the right ballpark any longer. While those 3 may hold that opinion, they are not even close to being the only one's to feel that way. In fact, a huge portion of American's feel that way, including many black individuals including Alan West and Dr. Ben Carson. You can try with all your might to minimize those that disagree with your chosen one, but the tide is rising against him. More and more are figuring out just how destructive his policies are. I don't agree with Phil's assessment of O's foreign policy, but his observations on the youth and the ACA are spot on.
I think his "executive actions" will be severely limited by our system of checks and balances. I give Obama an "A" for foreign policy. He has brought our troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan while keeping us out of future wars. His negotiations with Iran on nuclear weapons is the right thing to do and Israel is behaving. On domestic policy I would give him a "C". He did manage to keep us out of a depression and the stimulous may have been the right thing to do. However, his constant calling for higher taxes coupled with the Affordable Care Act are a disaster waiting to happen. Attacking the wealthy in this country will do nothing to create jobs. The ACA is not affordable, will never get the support of the country's youth and higher costs will lead to major employers dropping health care coverage. I look forward to the day when we have a moderate leader, conservatuve when it makes sense and liberal only on rare occasions when necessary.

Let us set things right...
The people who keep telling you that he is most divisive president...the ones who are telling you he oversteps his constitutional authority...the ones who tell you his policies are so destructive to our Country...
Glenn Beck.... He was a recovering alcoholic and drug addict, was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and has described himself as a "borderline schizophrenic
Rush Limbaugh..dropped out of college..and Limbaugh stated that he was addicted to pain medication, and sought treatment (why is he not in jail like other addicts found with huge amounts of drugs?)
Sean Hannity..another college drop out..and most despicable..using a charity meant to raise money for our wounded veterans...to fill his own pockets
Check where information comes from.

Marcia, that has to be one of the most ignorant statements ever made. Not Divisive? What JOKE!!! His class warfare rhetoric started during his campaign and the minute anyone disagrees with him, it must be a racial issue. He's pathetic and has done nothing but work to tear this country apart. What the heck do you think he meant when he said that he wanted to "fundamentally change" the country? Ridiculous.

To those who blame Obama for the divisiveness in our government, I say bull. Obama did not come to government to divide the country but to put into effect the policies he was elected on...twice. It was not Obama and the democrats who met on the day of his first inauguration to plan how they would stop him from accomplishing anything. You cannot bring together people who refuse to work together. And by meeting and planning to stop the agenda he was elected to fulfill, they admitted they are the problem. So quit lying and blaming the president.

Absolutely. For this is the year that Obama is going to get the country on the right track. What he did with the previous five years beats the h*ll out of me. Just look it took Obama no time to get into Air Force one and start travelling to select cities to deliver his message. Looks like the television does not suit his taste. Of course the tax payer will foot the bill and the message he will deliver will be to a select group. HAs anyone noticed that since being elected very few promises made during his campaign have come to fruition. He does have the authority to issue executive orders however when these orders violate the constitution then we have problems. Till then the democrats will go their own way and the country will suffer.

for paul christopher, the right wing is obstructionist says paul. hey paul, here is a partial list of your democratic teachers union and their fight against choice in schools. holder is suing louisiana to stop vouchers. in wisconsin, vacant school buildings that the govt will NOT sell to charter schools, under pressure fron your unions paul .in california lawsuits bought by students against the teaches union for incompetent teachers and union work rules. the democrats fight this every time. so paul, you are saying we should just say yes to the democrats and raise stupid kids ? Are you nuts too ?you always miss this . why is that paul ?

judeye, marcia and christopher, the dumbest liberals here. judeye, it is your party, the one that called the repubs obstructionist for calling for a delay in the ACA individual mandate. Obama has done this and more, telling insurance companies to issue policies that are illegal under aca, marcia, obama has declared war on carbon. Thats what modern life runs on marcia, you dont seem to know that.judeye cals this congress the ,most obstructionist ever, wrong again and again even after i posted what the libs did in congress just before they plunged the country into civil war. so in judeyes eyes the civl war was less obstructionist than the repubs now. judeye , are you nuts ?
"I'm willing to sit down and "talk" w/ anybody!!! He didn't say negotiate. Marcia and Judeye, are you in favor of the part of Obummercare that has "US" taking in any losses the insurance companies incur while insuring those who don't sign up. ie, the younger generation. I'm not. But maybe Christopher is w/ you as well...

Christopher come to reality? Are you kidding? He still insists(lies)that retired military get free rooms on military bases and that tax payers foot the bill for the(non existent) cut rate deals at the PX/BX,and NEX exchanges.

C'mon Christopher, come to reality. It's a 2-way street here. How do you explain the 100+ bills that the house has passed that Dirty Harry will not allow to even come up for a vote in the Senate? It's Obama that has no intention of compromising. Every time he says he wants something, he wants it "with no strings attached" or he won't accept it. He's a failure as president and has no idea how to lead or work together to come up with a compromise. And no, compromise does not mean just passing whatever he asks for. The only thing he's been successful at, is to displace Jimmy Carter as the worst president ever.
LOL!!! I made a bet that at least 75% of the Observer regulars would vote against it, while supporting a party so obstructionist they've left President Obama little choice! It's sort of like shooting yourself in the foot then ******** because you have blood on your socks! Arf, arf!! Here's your fish!!

And Judeye, "We as One Country" is an absolute joke coming from someone that supports the most divisive president in history. Class warfare and race baiting are the cornerstones of his administration. How low can you go to keep trying to defend this guy?
5 Agrees | 3 Disagrees | Report Abuse »
Judeye, the only one's missing the point are you and the rest of the Obamadrones. Congress is NOT judged by how much they get done and just because they are not passing your messiah's agenda, doesn't mean their not doing their job. I for one applaud those who have the courage and stand up against this destructive agenda. Your classification of what's "good for this country" is a position not held by all and your idea of "forward" is clearly taking several steps back.

Of course I disagree. I KNOW it was Mr Wall St Banker, using fraud and deception, that robbed us all blind. Twist is..he then made all of us pay for his crime while he went laughing all the way to the Cayman Islands.

Should we go through every EO one by one and decide if we agree or not? I just spent some time reading many of them. Many I agree with and feel they were needed for such things as National Security. Some made me ashamed, like the FDR one for camps for those of Japanese decent. Some read like union busting demands.
The point missing..is President Obama has asked CONGRESS to do its job in working on bills desperately needed in our Country, like immigration reform. Now if Congress refuses to its job (have you wondered why they have been called a do nothing congress....worse in our Country's history)...he will use EO for the GOOD OF OUR COUNTRY.
We can no longer wait for Congress to wake up and start to do its job.
We have urgent needs in our Country. Some are willing to work on them...for those who refuse to address them...get out of the way. We as One Country...are moving FORWARD.
just to clear the air "it was Major Mustard with a candle stick in the library", but of course judeye and Marcia will disagree
so Marcia just because others may or may not done what King O is planning to do "doesn't" make it right, if that was the case would you jump off the dock today just because everybody else is, we would hope that you would use better judgment, but then again maybe you wouldn't
Well, here comes Marcia to pick up the senseless stream of nonsense where Judeye left off. First off, Look it up, Reagan was under 400, not over. Secondly, as has been said repeatedly (and several of you can't seem to grasp), it is not the act of issuing EO's that is at question. Yes most president's have used them. The problem is WHAT he is threatening to use them for. What part of that is so hard for you to grasp? Also, how come none of you have brought up FDR in your lists? He issued over 3500 of them, which is by far more than anyone else. I really don't care how many any of them have issued, or will issue in the future. I do have an issue when they threaten to overstep their authority using these means.
