NCCYHA to hold Polar Plunge

The NCCYHA Steelers Youth Hockey will hold the Polar Plunge on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Dunkirk City Pier from noon to 2 p.m.

NCCYHA is raising money for Camp Gross this year.

Camp Gross is a youth camp, operated by the Camp Gross Foundation located in Cassadaga. Their mission is to provide the youth of Chautauqua County with an excellent, safe, handicap accessible up-to-date camping facility open year round. Youth groups using Camp Gross are enabled to advance their goals of personal growth in knowledge, skills and attitude. The Foundation is constantly working to increase usage by all organized youth groups, but is in need of funds to do so.

Camp Gross needs the support of community groups such as the NCCYHA.

Anyone who is willing to take part in the Polar Plunge should ask your friends, family and coworkers for sponsors. Those who raise $50 in pledges will earn the right to get wet.

Donations are gratefully accepted.

For more information and pledge forms, visit www.nccyha.com or call Brian Madurski at 785-0852.
