Westfield defeated Gowanda Thursday night. Westfield pitcher Eva Gnadzinski pitched four innings with 10 strikeouts, three walks and gave up one hit. She also added a double at the plate while Josie Miller drove in two runs. Gowanda’s Jayden Szkatulski pitched two scoreless innings with six strikeouts and added two hits (triple and home run). Gowanda’s Ella Luther hit a double and was outstanding in the field. Haley Ramm and Casey Black for Westfield also were defensive standouts making several plays in the field.
