Eighteenth annual Woody Keyser Memorial Softball Tournament to be held June 3 and 4

WESTFIELD, N.Y. -The Woody Keyser Modified Softball Tournament is slated for June 3 and 4. This year will mark the eighteenth annual event, which is held in Westfield, NY. All proceeds from this tournament go to the Woody Keyser Memorial Fund. Donations from the Fund are made in Woody’s name to local youth baseball and softball leagues.

Ten-man open modified softball teams are invited to participate in this family oriented- event. There will be a $275 entry fee. The top three teams will receive prize money. First and second place winner will also receive commemorative t-shirts, which are also available for purchase.

Results of the Men’s Opening Stag Held at Shorewood Country Club

The format was four-man teams, two best of four gross and two best of four net.

Two best of four gross winning team (team score, 138): Kevin Kaszuba, Derek Dawson, Dave Newton and Mike Leone.

Two best of net winning team (team score, 119): Scott Herdzik, Tim Walawender, Drew Anderson and Brett Shaver.

Vineyard Wednesday Night Golf League

We will begin league play this Wednesday, May 17 at 5 p.m. All that have signed up should be there.
