FSU women’s soccer Kids’ Day Saturday

Saturday is Kids’ Day at Fredonia’s University Stadium. A free Sahlen’s hot dog and a drink will be served to the first 200 children through the gate for the Buffalo State vs. Fredonia women’s soccer game, which starts at 1 p.m. Sahlen’s is serving as corporate sponsor.

In conjunction with the event, the Fredonia Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will host Community Play Day from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday on both the grass and turf fields at University Stadium. Blue Devil student-athletes will lead children ages 5 through 14 in different drills, games, and activities prior to the game. A liability waiver to be signed by a parent or guardian will be available at the site.

The Fredonia Blue Devil will be in attendance to take pictures at 11:30 a.m. and again just before halftime during the contest.

Bills Boosters to watch game at Falcon Club

The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday at the First Ward Falcon Club. Polish and Italian sausage sandwiches will be provided at halftime. Members may bring a dish to pass.
