CCHA Open A League

P*Dubs’s 8, Newcomb Autoglass 4

Matt Sheridan scored four times for P*Dubs, while Kevin Salemi had two goals and Cory Dziduch and Greg McQuiggan each picked up single tallies. Dziduch and Tom Howlett each recorded two assists, while Justin Giles, Salemi and Sheridan had single helpers.

Nate Woznak netted two goals for Newcomb, while teammates Mike Paradis and Steve Formanowicz also scored. Formanowicz and Ronal Frier were credited with assists.

BJ’s 4, Coughlans 4

Tyler Gustafson had two goals for BJ’s, and Jerry Tramuta and Bryan McCoy also scored for the team. Tramuta had two assists, while single assists went to Joe Dunn, McCoy and Andy Wheelock.

The scorers for Coughlans were Taylor Mattoon, Dan Bellis, Steve Formanowicz and Mark Zaffalon. Mattoon made two assists, and Zaffalon and Dan Bellis had one assist each.

CCHA C League

Wicked Glen 5, Heenans Pub 1

Caine Hidi and Eric Williams scored twice for Wicked Glen, with Chris Nelligan picking up the other goal.

Assists for Wicked Glen: Dave Silajyi and Nelligan had two assists, while Cody Williams, Chris McCaan and Chad Carlson picked up an assist each.

Coughlans 5, Lakeview Shock 3

Marc Smith had a hat trick for Coughlans, while Dan Robinson and Mark Weimer also scored for the team. Smith, Robinson and Weimer each recorded an assist, as did Ted Andolsek and Mike Palisonio.

Jim Eschberger, Mike Korzeniewski and Tony Privitera all scored for Lakeview Shock. Matt Polvino picked up three assists for the squad, while Dan Gornikiewicz had one assist.

NCCYHA Steelers

Squirt-Team Nowicki 4, Jamestown 2

The Steelers battled hard all game and pulled out a close victory over Jamestown. The Steelers were led by Connor Nowicki who had a goal and an assist. Addison Paluch, David Girdlestone and Braiden Truby each scored once for the Steelers. Wilson Szydlo stayed strong in net, and held off a late push by Jamestown to earn the win in net.

Depew 4, Squirt-Team Nowicki 3

The Steelers poured it on in the third period, but just couldn’t pull out a win against a tough Depew team. Shane Ferguson scored twice on the power play and added an assist, and Connor Nowicki scored once to lead the Steelers offense. Addison Paluch and Brody Himelein each added a helper. Wilson Szydlo made numerous saves but suffered the loss in net for the Steelers.

Bantam Travel 5, West Seneca 5

The Steelers couldn’t hang onto a three-goal lead in the third period, holding on for a tie against West Seneca. The Steelers offense was led by Alex Paluch who scored twice and added an assist. Kameron Mages also scored twice, and Tate Olson added a goal and an assist. Trevor Persch and Simon Davis each tallied a helper. Zac Waterman played well in net, turning aside several shots late in the third.
