Dunkirk Baseball Comedy Night set for March 10 at Moose Lodge

The Dunkirk Baseball Comedy Night will be held Saturday, March 10 at the Dunkirk Moose Lodge. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with cash bar and light menu, along with a Chinese Auction and 50/50 raffle. The show starts at 7:15 p.m.

Tickets for the show, which features Dan Viola, Vinni Paulino and Bob Holzworth, are $10.00 and can be purchased at the Moose Lodge, Matts News, any varsity baseball parent, Ryan Corbett or Frank Jagoda at the middle school. Call 785-4313 for tickets.

Barbecue, basket raffle to benefit Silver Creek baseball players Sunday

SILVER CREEK — The Black Knights Baseball Booster Club is hosting a chicken barbecue and basket raffle on Sunday, March 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Silver Creek Firemen’s Club, 21 Jackson St.

The $10 cost includes chicken, tossed salad, red potatoes, roll with butter and dessert. Dine in or enjoy a take-out meal. Contact Amy Rominik at 679-5657 or Deb Brunner at 785-3687 for pre-sale tickets.

Lake Shore 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament to be held March 10

ANGOLA – The Lake Shore High School Academy of Business and Finance will be hosting its annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament on March 10. The double elimination tournament will be held from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. in Lake Shore High School, 959 Beach Road, Angola.

Registration fees are $120 for 4 person adult teams, $80 for four person high school teams and $50 for four person youth teams. The registration fee includes an event jersey for each player. Brackets include Open Men and Women, High School Boys, High School Girls and Youth Boys and Girls (9-12 and 13-15). Register online at
