Girls4Golf (July 31) — Low score for the night went to Kim Murphy with a 53 followed by Nancy Phillips with a 57. Low combined scores was won by Kim Murphy and Nancy Phillips, and closest to the pin on the second shot on No. 3 was won by guest Diana Carpus.

The Bella’s Ladies League (Aug. 1) — Lori Danforth was winner of the game of the week, “mystery 6.” Next league game will be played on Wednesday, with name draw at 9:30 a.m. and tee offs beginning at 10 a.m. All skill levels are welcome, join anytime. (July 31)– The league held its first playoff games.

U-8

Jamestown Macadam won against Barney’s Hoof Trimming 5-3. Scoring for Jamestown Macadam was Kristyn McVey with four goals and Preston Swan.

Park Church won against Homestead Stables 4-3. Scoring for Park Church was Sophie Conti with three goals and Mason Hinton. Scoring for Homestead Stables was Brody Hawkins with three goals.

U-11

Bethany Camp had the victory over aLibrary Bookworms 1-0. Scoring for Bethany Camp was Connor Main (assist Faith McVey). Goalies for Bethany Camp for the shutout were Katarina Pattison, Aiden Testa and Ethan Testa.

SKM won against KCR, 2-0. Scoring for SKM was Jackson Crowell with two goals (assist Jackson Hattaway).Goalies for SKM for the shutout were Cameron Fitzgibbons and Cadence Fitzgibbons.

U-16

MK Mustangs had the victory over Southern Chautauqua FCU 4-0. Scoring for MK Mustangs was Dominic Huston, Matthew Dallas Owen Sorber and Jared Dorman. (Assists: Sorber, Adam Dossey and Dorman). Goalie for MK Mustangs for the shutout was Hayden Coulcher-Hobbs.

Gerry Free Methodist Church topped Southern Tier Land Surveying 2-1. Scoring for GFMC was Drake Pierce (assist Issac Wenger) and Johnathon Brockelbank (assist Drake Pierce). Scoring for Southern Tier Land Surveying was Noah Richner.

Announcements

Signups due Monday for Tripp golf tourney

The Tenth and Final Gary Tripp Memorial Golf Tournament (GTMGT) plans are progressing and on the First Tee. The 2018 tournament is set for Aug. 25 at the Vineyards golf courses in Fredonia. Registration starts at 9 a.m. The shotgun start is at 10 a.m.

The registration fee of $65 per golfer includes food on the course and dinner at the Kosciuszko Club and a golfer’s gift. The deadline to sign up is Monday. Contact Katie or Pat at 366-1044. Extra foursome forms and sponsor forms will be available at the K Club.

Monies raised from past tournaments have been used to establish an annual Gary Tripp Colorectal Cancer Research fund at Roswell Park, an annual GTMGT Dunkirk High School Scholarship and an annual donation to the GTMGT SUNY Fredonia Scholarship.

Team New Era tryouts going on until Saturday
