Vineyards Golf Course
Wednesday Night Vineyards Golf League — Wednesday night was the final night for the Wednesday Night League, but unfortunately mother nature decided that we did not need to play. We had our end of the season banquet at the Fireside Manor with a delicious prime rib dinner with all the trimmings.
The following is the results of this season play. Coming in first place was the team of Dan Wolfe and Gary Vandevelde with 70.5 points. Second place was Bob and Brian Manning with 67 points. Third place was John Lakas and Jeff Nelson with 57.5 points. Fourth place was Mike Korzeniewski and Mike Nasal with 55 points. Fifth place was Charlie Reinhardt and Jim Sedota with 51.5 points. Sixth place there was a two-way tie with Dan Michalak and Mark Nasal and Mike Nobles and Rich Nalepa with 51 points. There was also a tie for seventh place with the teams of Mike Crise and Bob Golubski and Jim Michaels and Gene Alton with 46 points.
We will be moving this league next year to Monday nights, playing the Vineyards North Course. We will hold this to 32 golfers with more details to follow. If interested in joining this league, please sign up at the Vineyards Golf Course before season’s end or in early spring.
