Jackson Spangler, 9, of Fredonia, won the village Glen Orange Ball Tennis Tournament in Williamsville on Dec. 17. Spangler, a member of the Chautauqua Tennis Club, won the Red Pool, defeating three other competitors in straight sets. Spangler then faced the winner of the Blue Pool in the tournament championship. There, he prevailed over Amelia Greenawalt, 10, of Lancaster, winning, 4-0, 4-1. Eight competitors were entered into the 10-and-under tournament.
