Jordan Krystofiak cracked a 202-536 to lead the Brocton Bulldogs (4-4) to a 4-0 sweep of Randolph (0-4) on Wednesday in CCAA Division 2 boys high school bowling.

The Bulldogs’ linescore read 757-690-714-2,161 while the Cardinals combined for a 638-686-672-1,996 at Lucky Lanes.

Devin Bush contributed in the win with a 178 and Brooke Jesionowski rolled a 173 game for the winners.

The Cardinals’ Tyler Rowley rolled a 166 in defeat.

Brocton returns to action next Wednesday at Silver Creek.

Frewsburg sweeps Forestville

The Frewsburg Bears swept the Forestville Hornets on Wednesday in both boys and girls high school bowling action.

For the girls, Frewsburg combined for a 571-533-604-1,708 while Forestville (1-7) rolled a 487-494-529-1,510 at Lucky Lanes.

The Bears’ were led by Shelby Snow’s 151-159-158-468. Bryanna Warner had a 134-142-160-436.

Forestville received a 116-141-154-411 from Ashley Forbes. Kayleigh Pierce had a 136-140-123-399 in defeat.

For the boys, Frewsburg accumulated a 895-834-845-2574 while Forestville (4-4) had a 754-787-828-2,369.

Frewsburg’s Josh Snow had a 215-178-188-581 while Caleb Terhune contributed in the win with a 214-149-211-574.

The Hornets were led by Phil Narraway’s 180-212-201-593. Dakota Fisher had a 177-192-155-524 in defeat.

Hillbillies take down Golden Falcons

The Fredonia Hillbillies remained unbeaten Wednesday in CCAA boys high school bowling with a 4-0 victory over Falconer (4-4).

Fredonia’s linescore read 954-974-936-2,864 compared to Falconer’s 795-724-745-2,264 at Jamestown Bowling Company.

The Hillbillies (8-0) were led by Josh Ellman’s 196-219-199-614. Ricky Burgstrom rolled a 206-195-589 while Bryson Pacos had a 218 game.

The Golden Falcons’ top bowler was Matt Bowman with a 189.

For the girls, Fredonia (5-3,) topped Falconer (3-5), 3-1, thanks to a linescore of 531-559-663-1,753 to Falconer’s 562-542-622-1,726.

Gillian Reed led Fredonia with a 175-484 while teammate Lexi Vazquez had a 177 game.

Falconer received a 176 game from  McKyla Scott.

Silver Creek girls edge Clymer/Sherman; boys prevail

CLYMER — The Silver Creek Black Knights edged out Clymer/Sherman, 4-0, Wednesday in Division 2 girls high school bowling action.

Silver Creek won by just 17 pins, with the closest game being a 10-point spread. Its linescore read 476-466-486-1,428 while Clymer/Sherman bowled a 469-465-477-1,411 at Cutting Lanes.

The Black Knights were led by McKenna Steklasa’s 185-149-448 and Gabriella Rivera’s 134-334. Andrea Olsen had a 125-333 for the victors.

Clymer/Sherman’s top bowler was Megan VanValkenburg, who had a 149-166-128-443.

For the boys, Silver Creek topped the host team, 3-1.

The Black Knights combined for a 562-608-671-1,655 while Clymer/Sherman had a 584-484-532-1,600.

Daniel Paterson had a solid day with a 131-156-205-492 while Bryan Berek had a 142-100-144-386.

Clymer/Sherman received a 152-408 from nicholas Frew and a 148 game from Richard Burgess.
