Skelly helps Dunkirk past Chautauqua Lake

CLYMER — Dunkirk’s boys and girls bowling teams earned 4-0 wins over Chautauqua Lake Tuesday afternoon during CCAA Division I bowling action at Cutting Lanes.

In the boys match, the Marauders (4-0) won by a linescore of 845-864-824-2,553 to 523-464-449-1,436, as they were led by Tristan Skelly’s 224-174-212-610 set while John Collins chipped in a 165-203-168-536 series.

For the Thunderbirds (0-4), Dakota Barrow rolled a 164-161-171-486 while Bryant Anderson chipped in a 149 game.

In the girls match, the Lady Marauders (4-0) eased past the Lady Thunderbirds (0-4), 785-744-750-2,279 to 370-389-403-1,162, as Dunkirk received a 178-156-161-495 series from Hanna Ellman games of 177 and 178 from Olivia Corbett and a 211 from Adrianna Pencek.

Cheyanne Wolcott was Chautauqua Lake’s top bowler.

Brocton falls to Frewsburg in four games at Jamestown Bowling Co.

JAMESTOWN — The Brocton boys bowling team dropped all four games to Frewsburg during CCAA Division 2 action Tuesday afternoon at the Jamestown Bowling Co.

The Bears (4-0) outpinned the Bulldogs (0-4), 836-842-806-2,482 to 648-670-713-2,031, as Josh Snow rolled games of 190, 201 and 218 for a 609 set while Alex Kyler shot games of 176 and 187.

For Brocton, Jordan Krystofiak had a 191-199-512 series.
