The Maple Grove girls soccer team (3-0, 1-0) came up with a 3-0 win over Fredonia (0-2-1, 0-1) in their first CCAA West matchup of the season.

The game was cut short just five minutes into the second half due to stormy weather, but enough time had passed to record an official victory.

Adrianna Carlson got it started for Maple Grove just two minutes into the contest, scoring off a Clare Crossley assist. Crossley came back with a goal of her own in the 19th minute via Taylor Bower assist. Carlson later scored her second goal of the day in the 37th minute courtesy of an assist by Crossley.

The Lady Hillbillies will take the field again next Tuesday at Southwestern.
