Forestville bowlers split Frewsburg match

FREWSBURG — The Forestville Hornets boys bowling team was no match for Frewsburg, falling to the Bears, 4-0, in a high school bowling match on Tuesday at Frewsburg Lanes.
Frewsburg (35-1) had a large lead the entire way, racking up a series total of 914-922-895-2,731. Forestville (31-9) managed a total of 819-641-722-2,182.
Frewsburg was led by Josh Snow, who had the high series of the match at 172-235-225-632. Malik Williams added a 203 game.
Forestville was led by Marshall Hollowell with a series of 235-156-181-572.
The Lady Hornets fared much better than the boys on Tuesday, coming away with a 3-1 victory in a close match with the Lady Bears. Forestville scored 555-535-498-1,588, while Frewsburg totaled 522-483-539-1,544.
Forestville (26-6) was led by Tristian Olsen, who posted a high series score of 168-149-135-452 for the Lady Hornets. Ashley Forbes added games of 152 and 146, while Lilly Van Arsdale had games of 133 and 114.
