Lady Wolverines fall to Clymer, 43-21

CLYMER — The Westfield Lady Wolverines fell to Clymer, 43-21, in CCAA Division 2 West girls basketball.

“I think we played really good defense. I think were always strong on defense. They just had a lot of turnovers this evening and that really hurt them,” Westfield assistant coach Rachel Mathews explained.

As a team, Westfield committed 31 turnover against the Lady Wildcats.”

Sophia DeMarco led her team most of the stat categories with 11 points, five steal, seven, nine rebounds and three assist.

Abbie Heslink led Clymer with 13 points.

Westfield (4-6, 0-2 ) plays their next game on Saturday, at JCC, against Maple Grove.
