Hurricane defeat Dubois, 108-94

BROCTON — The Chautauqua Hurricane basketball team moved to 3-2 on the season with a 108-94 win over the Dubois Dream Saturday night.

Johnny Marsh led the Hurricane scorers with 24 points. Marcus Feagin contributed 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Ralph Williams also had a double-double with 20 points and 10 assists. Larry Rivers added 12 points for Chautauqua.

“We pretty much controlled the tempo of the entire game,” Hurricane coach Jerome Moss said. “Although the score was close going into the fourth quarter, we were able to extend the lead. It was a pretty well-played game.

“We had an overall performance tonight,” Moss added. “We shared the ball well, played great defense when we needed to. It was a total team effort.”

The Hurricane return to action Friday with a game on their Brocton Central School home court against the Ohio Bootleggers.
