Lady T’birds beat Falconer, 64-33

MAYVILLE — Chautauqua Lake came out red hot in the first quarter by hitting 10 of 13 shots from the floor and went on to record a 64-33 win over Falconer in Division 1 West girls basketball Monday night.

Katelyn Fardink led the way with 11 of her 16 points in the first eight minutes as the Thunderbirds took a commanding 39-7 lead to improve their record to 12-6 overall and 8-2 in the league.

Emily Phelps tossed in 11 points and Jesse Zenns added 10 in the victory while Lex Jacobson had 12 assists. Zenns had nine rebounds and Abbie Henry added six.

Falconer (0-10, 4-14) was led by Chelsea Vincent with 11 points, six rebounds and four steals.
