CL raises funds for cancer patient

Superintendent Ben Spitzer (left) presents a check for $4,757.49 to the family of Chautauqua Lake Central School seventh grader Drake McKane, who is battling leukemia. The funds were raised by the Chautauqua Lake girls’ basketball teams in benefit basketball games and by the National Honor Society, which coordinated complementary fundraising efforts.
