FHS tennis defeats SW, now 10-0

Fredonia defeated Southwestern, 5-0, in a non league high school boys tennis match Thursday at Fredonia High School.

Fredonia is now 10-0, with its last match today against Panama at home. Fredonia won its first match of the season against Panama, 3-2.

Individual match results from Thursday’s competition:

— First singles: Neil Gens (F) d. Eston Shedd, 6-0, 6-1

— Second singles: Dan Gifford ( F) d. Josh Pike, 6-4, 6-1

— Third singles: Augusto Rodriguez ( F) d. Dylan Sorenson, 6-0, 6-0

— First doubles: Josh Thompson and Caleb Reynolds (F) d. Nick Sedz and Ben Troche, 6-2, 6-1

— Second doubles: Jimmy Rush and Max Kinkela (F) d. Braley Lachner and Ethan Livingston, 6-0, 6-1.
