Pump it Up! brings home golds

Pump It Up! Gymnastics had an eventful season bringing home gold medals.

Leah Marsh successfully ended her first year in Level 4, placing at the state Junior Olympic Meet with all scores above a 9.0. The level 3 team included Jennifer Tran, who earned many medals and a high score of 9.5 on floor and 9.6 on vault, also placing overall at the NYS Junior Olympic Meet. Evelyn Cuthbert and Hazel Bache had their most successful year in level 3 with amazing overall scores earning them state meet opportunities.

Ava Gruber, who is new to level 3, took home many gold and silver medals with overall placement in the state Junior Olympic Meet. Lauren Jasinski brought home a cluster of medals with a first place in vault with a 9.15 and earning placement in the Junior Olympic Meet. Carilene Sliwa was a first-time level 3 competitor and excelled throughout the program earning her state placement. Madeline Saunders nailed her level 3 routines bringing home countless medals with a 9.4 floor score earning her a position at the Junior Olympic Meet. Sarah Winchell earned her ticket to the Junior Olympic Meet by winning numerous medals throughout the season and getting her spot on the state team.

Owyn Darrell-Sterbak was the newest arrival to Pump It UP! In her first season she earned several gold and silver medals with a score on the podium as a Junior Olympic State all around medal winner. Ayva Bohn competed for her first season and won many gold medals including a spot on the state team.

Pump It UP! Gymnastics is entering its 10th season competing at state levels and earning gold. All coaches are USA Gymnastics certified in coaching, CPR/AED, SafeSport, first aid, bloodborne pathogens, and have a clear background check. For more information, please contact Cheryl at 680-0361.
