Westfield softball wins title

Westfield pitcher Mackenzie Schumaker delivers a pitch during the 8-10 year old New York Section 1 West softball championship game in Fredonia on Tuesday against Orchard Park. Despite the Orchard Park pitcher throwing a no-hitter, Westfield came away with a 1-0 victory after stealing home in the top of the seventh inning. Westfield now advances to the statewide tournament.
