Hillbillies’ boys, girls bowling get big wins

JAMESTOWN — The Fredonia boys and girls bowling teams each had stellar nights on the lanes on Tuesday, defeating Southwestern 4-0, 4-0 at Jamestown Bowling Co.
For the Fredonia boys, they won by a final score of 794-887-970-2,651 to 716-626-699-2,041. Top bowlers for the Hillbillies included Trace Mackenzie (199-203-219-621), Jacob Patterson (204), Mike Dispense (189), Jacob Marsh (191) and Bryson Pacos (215).
For Southwestern, they were led by Alex Nelson (223-168-223-614).
The Fredonia boys (12-0) will bowl again on Monday against Jamestown at Lucky Lanes.
For the Fredonia girls, they won by a final line of 610-583-636-1,829 to 428-481-529-1,438. Leading the Hillbillies were Gillian Reed (157-404), Chris Anne Mosier (161-297) and Savannah Salim (136-246).
The Lady Trojans were led by Morgan Wilson (145-173-439).
The Fredonia girls (9-3) will also be back in action Monday against Jamestown at Lucky Lanes.
Silver Creek beats Brocton
SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Black Knights swept the Brocton Bulldogs in a boys high school bowling contest on Tuesday at Hanover Lanes.
Silver Creek (8-4) scored 726-785-651-2,162, while Brocton (1-15) managed 644-606-494-1,744.
The Black Knights were led by Danny Paterson with a score of 201-235-172-608. Casimer Kowal had a 165 game and a 422 series.
The Bulldogs were led once again by Jordan Krystofiak, with a score of 201-170-497.
Silver Creek is in action again on Monday, against Maple Grove, at Hanover Lanes.
