Pine Valley girls lose to Salamanca, 35-25

SALAMANCA — The Pine Valley Lady Panthers fell to Salamanca on Tuesday on the road, 35-25, in a girls basketball game at Salamanca High School.

Katelyn Miller led Pine Valley (0-2) with eight points, along with seven rebounds. Delanie Tunstall had five points and 10 rebounds, while Madisyn Herman and Payton Swanson each had five points for the Lady Panthers.

Salamanca (1-1) was led by Kylee Dowdy with eight points and nine rebounds. No player for either team had more than eight points in the contest.

Pine Valley plays next in the Hae Jude Tournament in Silver Creek, beginning on Friday.
