Forestville splits with Frewsburg bowling
FREWSBURG — The Forestville Hornets traveled to the Frewsburg Bears for a Section VI, bowling matchup on Wednesday. Each team earned a 4-0 victory, the girls from Forestville earned the win while the boys from Frewsburg bested the boys from Forestville.
The linescore for the Lady Hornets (34-2) was 638-624-597-1,859 and the Lady Bears put up 515-544-480-1,539. Forestville saw notable performances from Lilly VanArsdale with 192-184-179-555, Emily Barlette-Dye had 260-346, Tristan Olsen rolled 152-348 and Mackenzy Graziano had 156. The Lady Bears (19-13) were led by Katelyn Bean with 151-415, Bridget Ritter had 153-406 and Samantha Smith contributed 394.
The linescore for the Forestville boys (35-9) was 720-725-646-2,091; while the Frewsburg boys had 769-807-858-2,434. Forestville saw good performances from Brayden Smith with 151-153-450, Braden Grubb with 184-444, Nate Barlette-Dye had a 167 and Brandon Erick rolled a 163. The Bears (37-3) performance was led by Malik Williams 213-199-541, Jared Walsh 183-189-531, Brendan Randall 171-183-521 and Matthew Thompson 178.
Forestville is back in action next Wednesday when they host Maple Grove. Frewsburg is back on the lanes next Tuesday when they host Silver Creek.
