Fredonia bowlers fall to Jamestown

JAMESTOWN — Jamestown earned a pair of Division 1 wins over Fredonia at Jamestown Bowling Company, prevailing 3-1 in the boys match with a linescore of 997-991-951-2,919.

The Jamestown boys (21-7) were led by Austin Aldrich with a 213-234-229-676, while Kyle Christensen hit a 210-222-203-635 and Colton Cappalino smashed a 546. Fredonia rolled a combined 892-1,022-1,025-2,939 thanks to a 227-213-636 by Bryson Pacos, a 242-620 by Jacob Marsh and a 204-581 for Jacob Patterson.

In the girls contest, Jamestown (18-10) finished with a 4-0 final after a linescore of 781-777-795-2,353. Alex Cowen hit a 202-542, Kali Mason a 206-496, Emily Ryberg a 492 and Abbie Derby a 207-490.

Fredonia (17-19) finished with a 475 while Chrisanne Mosier tossed a 474 for a final of 761-704-720-2,185.
